Biggest tour for Red Light

LONDON-based five-piece with a Placebo meets Smashing Pumpkins sound, Red Light Company are set to release their debut EP and follow it up with their biggest tour to date.
With Lights Out comes out as a limited edition of 500 CDs and 7” vinyl through Lavolta Records on May 26. It includes the songs Sinking Ship and First We Land and was produced by Nick Terry and Red Light Company and mixed by Adrian Bushby.
The band have just returned from support dates in Europe with Editors and Mobius Band, but will be headlining on a British tour that brings them to Leeds at the Cockpit on Saturday, May 10. Tickets are available now from Crash and Jumbo Records.
Red Light Company were formed last year and include Richard Frenneaux (vocals/guitar) who was born in England and spent his formative years in Australia and New Zealand; Shawn Day (bass) from Wyoming, USA, but born in Osaka, Japan; James Griffiths (drums) from Bridgend in Wales; Paul Mellon (guitar) from Motherwell in Scotland; and Chris Edmonds (keyboards) from Maidenhead.
They will release another single in July followed by their debut album in the autumn.
Support on the night will come from the ever popular Leeds band Royal Vendetta.
