THERE is an opportunity to enjoy the summer flowers at Oakwell Hall this Sunday.
Countryside officer Richard Aspinall will be leading a two-hour walk through the 110-acre park's woodland glades and hay meadows, exploring its rich variety of flowers and grasses.

"Oakwell has flowers for all seasons and this is the a perfect time to see the summer flowers as they take over from Spring's flora," said Richard.

The walk, which starts at 2pm, is free but places must be booked in advance. Contact Oakwell Hall on 01924 326240. The walk is not suitable for young children.
