THE waiting is over and there's only hours to go to Leeds' biggest music event.
Anticipation for the 2008 Leeds Festival has been hot right from the first announcement of the acts taking to the Bramham Park stage and the instant sell-out of all the tickets in record time.

The three-day music spectacular will feature more than 200 acts across seven stages with the entertainment beginning on Thursday evening for those pitching their tents a day earlier than the official start.

Metallica, Rage Against The Machine and The Killers are the main stage headliners over the weekend, but there are plenty more big names heading for the city and 70,000 fans ready to descend on the Leeds park.
