SINGER songwriter Peter Conway is heading for Leeds this week for a gig at the Trash venue.
Musically, this Londoner inhabits a world somewhere between Peter Gabriel, Tom Waits and the freedom encapsulated in an artist like Bob Dylan.

His debut album, Breakthrough - due next year and variously recorded at Ben Thomas's Victoria studio and with Ian Davenport at Courtyard in Oxford - is a record of depth and substance and has been described as having an instant, classic feel, "like something you have had knocking around the house for years."

Check him out for yourself when he appears at Trash, on Albion Street in Leeds, on Saturday, September 20. For tickets information, ring 0113 246 8899.
