This will be the band's third performance at the event and each time they have been a huge hit with the crowd.
McFly have also previously switched on Leeds Christmas lights.
They are expected to perform songs from their new album, Radioactive, released July 21, as well as some old favourites.
Also added to the line-up is Sandi Thom, who had a big hit with I wish I was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in my Hair) last year.
The line-up also includes Scouting for Girls, Alphabeat and David Jordan.
The event is organised by Leeds City Council in partnership with 96.3 Radio Aire.
