WITH his first album for six years in the shops, classic English songwriter and entertainer Billy Bragg is picking up his guitar and venturing out on another tour.
The critically acclaimed Mr Love & Justice is Billy’s 11th album proper in a musical career which is now into its third decade.

He is backed by The Blokes who include the celebrated Ian McLagan, of Small Faces and Faces fame and one track, I Keep Faith, has the legendary Robert Wyatt helping out on vocals.

Bragg is something of a legend himself, described in one review as a “national treasure”, and he is out and about next month on a short seven-date tour that brings him to Yorkshire at Sheffield’s City Hall on Wednesday, April 30.

Tickets are £16 and available from www.sheffieldboxoffice.com or by ringing 0114 2789789.
