WHAT'S on at the pubs and clubs in the Morley area:
ACKROYD STREET WMC - May 11 - Domino; May 18 - Jeff Grayshon.

ARKLE - May 9, local rock band, Broken Angel, from 9pm.

BATLEY CARR SOCIAL CLUB, Dewsbury - May 13 and 27, June 10 and 24, July 8 and 22 - a night of jazz and swing music from the 1
940s and 50s with Eddie Martell and the Reg Hargreaves Quartet. The evening starts at 8.30pm and tickets cost £2.

BRUNTCLIFFE WMC - On Sunday lunchtimes at 1pm there is cash bingo, a lotto, meat raffle and members' draw. Tuesday evenings from 9pm there is cash bingo. The function room can be hired by ringing (0113) 253 4127.

CHURWELL WMC - regular events include line dancing from 8pm on Tuesday, ladies' night with bingo and a raffle on Wednesday, bingo on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and live music is on Saturday night.

GAS HOUSE TAVERN, Drighlington - regular events include dominos on Monday, psychic night on Tuesday, quiz night to win a gallon of ale on Wednesday, open mic with a free supper on Thursday, live acts on Friday, open mic on Saturday and Free and Easy on Sunday.

LEEDS JAZZ CLUB, Upper and Lower Wortley Liberal Club - May 13 - Dave Mott's Jazz Classic with Suzanne; May 20 - Peter Frank Dixieland All Stars.

MORLEY WORKING MENS CLUB - May 7 - Steve Parkes, entertainer; May 14 - Kyla, top singer.

NEW INN, Churwell - May 10 - Flood Damage, band performing from 9.15pm.
