WHAT'S on at the area's pubs and clubs:
ACKROYD STREET WMC - July 6 - Sharp Experience; July 13 - Jamie Ansbro. Every Sunday there is bingo.

BATLEY CARR SOCIAL CLUB, Dewsbury - July 8, 22, August 5, 19 and every fortnight - a night of jazz and swing music from the 1940s and 50s with Edd
ie Martell and the Reg Hargreaves Quartet. The evening starts at 8.30pm and tickets cost £2.

BRUNTCLIFFE WMC - July 5 - Coast, rock band. Doors open at 7pm; July 7 - psychic night from 7.45-10.45pm. Tickets cost £5 per person. On Sunday lunchtimes at 1pm there is cash bingo, a lotto, meat raffle and members' draw. Tuesday evenings from 9pm there is cash bingo. The function room can be hired by ringing (0113) 253 4127.

COMMERCIAL INN, Morley - July 7 - Neil Wilde; July 14 - Kathy Ryan; July 21 - John Darren.

CHURWELL WMC - regular events include line dancing from 8pm on Tuesday, ladies' night with bingo and a raffle on Wednesday, bingo on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and live music is on Saturday night.

DRIGHLINGTON TEMPEST CON CLUB - Every Thursday is Bill's Big Quiz with prizes and Les's quiz on Sunday. The club can be hired by phoning (0113) 285 2727.

GAS HOUSE TAVERN, Drighlington - regular events include dominos on Monday, psychic night on Tuesday, quiz night to win a gallon of ale on Wednesday, open mic with a free supper on Thursday, live acts on Friday, open mic on Saturday and Free and Easy on Sunday.

GILDERSOME WMC - The club now has big screen Sky sports and bingo Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. New members are welcome.

LEEDS JAZZ CLUB, Upper and Lower Wortley Liberal Club - July 8 - New Orleans Heat; July 15 - Dizzy Fingers with Emily Druce.

MORLEY UNITED SERVICES CLUB - July 5 - Caitlen Bailey, singer and Oliver, television comedian.

MORLEY WORKING MEN'S CLUB - July 2 - Craig Michael, singer; July 9 - Sonya, entertainer; July 16 - Marc Gunjal.
