IN addition to a sold out show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire, New York-based Australian singer-songwriter Sia has announced that she will play a further seven dates throughout the UK later this year and will be heading for Leeds.
Sia is best known for her involvement with Zero 7 while she has also worked with Beck on current album Some People Have Real Problems and her track Breathe Me was featured in the series finale of TV series Six Feet Under.

She will be appearing at the Cockpit in Leeds on Sunday, October 5 with tickets available from Crash and Jumbo Records.

Sia's style is often described as a mix of r'n'b and jazz and she has now released four solo albums with her debut, Healing Is Difficult, including Taken for Granted, a song containing a sample from Prokofiev's Dance of the Knights which reached the top 10 in the UK singles chart.

A highly emotive new single, Soon We'll Be Found, is released on October 13.
