LEEDS Rhinos prop Jamie Peacock went down a storm at Borders bookstore at Junction 27.
The rugby star visited the store at the retail park to sign copies of his autobiography No White Flag for fans.

Events manager at the store, Michael Higgins said: “Jamie is really massive, but a really nice guy.

“He was absolutely bowled over by how much interest people have in him and he was happy to sign rugby balls and shirts for some of the children who couldn’t afford the book. He’s agreed to come back again during the Christmas period.”

Jamie, who was born and bred in Leeds, made his super league debut with the Bradford Bulls in 1999. It was there he achieved every honour available, including the Grand Final, Challenge Cup and World Cup Challenge.

He made his Rhinos debut, the team he had supported as a boy, in 2006 and has been named International Forward of the Year and Man of Steel.
