LAST Friday I was truly privileged to attend Morley High School's production of Romeo and Juliet.
With a cast of more than 90 students and many others helping behind the scenes and organised, directed and supported by more than 20 members of staff, this production was absolutely breathtaking.
When one bears in mind the fact that this sort of production takes months of hard work and commitment to produce and support, and the adults involved give up their time, energy and ability absolutely free and gratis, one can only thank and admire them. For by so doing they give our young people the encouragement and opportunity to hone their talents, and prepare them for their lives ahead.
Thank you to all you adults who helped in the staging of this production and thank you to every student who participated, in whatever capacity. The result was absolutely first class and a real credit to all of you.
