YET again, the letters page is an obvious platform for "me, me, me"
Why doesn’t Coun Robert Finnigan follow up on his promises of “I’ll look into the matter personally”?

In my last letter from Coun Finnigan, dated July 19 2007, he promised a follow-up as well as a decision from Morley police in regards to East View and Street Lane miscreant behaviour. So far, silence.

If support officers see me they give me a friendly wave and hello. But visits, where have they gone?

Coun Finnigan asks if thefts, vandalism, etc, have been reported to the police. In the past, yes, but they haven’t been followed up.

People have said that it’s a waste of time and due to experience, I agree.

Only last week two plant pots were stolen from my door step. Did I want to report it? What’s the point? Before that the ariel was taken from my car parked in my own driveway. I reported it, but any follow up? No.

Yes, I know I can be a pain Coun Finnigan, yet someone has to bring to your attention that something has to be done. Service to your elected community.

DON LUCAS
