A CAR smashed through bollards outside elderly residents' bungalows in Thorpe on Sunday night.
The driver lost control of the car, which hit the concrete bollards sending one through the air, narrowly missing the window of one bungalow.

The car also smashed through a safety rail and damaged the access steps.

No-one was hurt.
