Cyclists to take on 220 miles for charity

A GROUP of friends from Morley are to cycle from London to Leeds this weekend to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Ringleader Chris Strang, 21, said he hatched the plan just six weeks ago after he heard doctors could do nothing to help his uncle, who has cancer.
"That was when all 14 of us went out and got bikes, bought, begged and borrowed, and started to get some training in," he said.
Now, fully expecting that the 220-mile bike ride will be a massive challenge, they are appealing for sponsorship to encourage them on their venture.
If anyone wishes to sponsor Chris, they should ring him on 07747 760643.
