MORLEY Town Hall will once again be throwing open its doors in September as it takes part in the national heritage open days scheme run by English Heritage.
The nation wide scheme offers the public the chance to see private buildings or to get rare glimpses of parts of public buildings they would not normally have access too.

Morley Town Hall is no exception.

Although the grand Victorian building is open much of the time, during heritage weekend councillors will be running tours that will take in the exciting bits such as the old courtroom and the jail and the grand rooms, including the council chambers, banqueting halls and mayor's parlour.

Tours will be held on Saturday, September 13, at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm and no booking is required.
