MORLEY is set to become an open air library in a record breaking attempt as more than 1,000 books are left for people to find, read and pass on.
In a mass 'book crossing', people will have a bit of help finding the tomes thanks to the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter.

Both were in Morley yesterday to launch the town's efforts and it's hoped that it will get everyone to pick up a book during next week's festival.

For full story and a two-page Morley Literature Festival special - including a fantastic book giveaway and chance to win tickets - see today's edition of the Morley Observer & Advertiser
