EX-PREMIER League footballer Richard Graham is set to put his expertise to good use to help players in Morley, following the formation of a new club in the town.
The 33-year-old former Oldham Athletic defender now lives in the Morley area and is the team manager for the newly formed Luddites FC.

He will be putting his years of experience, professional skills and training to excellent use among the young people of Leeds free of charge.

Richard spent nine years of his football career at Oldham Athletic as a central defender, making more than 150 appearances from 1993 to 2001, but his career was cut drastically short following a knee injury.

He is now fully recovered and looking to pass on his valuable skills to those who may not have access.

Luddites FC will promote healthy lifestyles and encourage exercise among young men from all backgrounds in the Leeds area.

The team has been accepted into the West Riding County Football Association and will be playing on Sundays in the Leeds Combination League during the forthcoming season.

Team marketing director David Holliday, 26, and team chairman Stuart Hill, 32, are using their business experience to encouraging business and individuals around Leeds to sponsor the team for the first two seasons.

There are many opportunities for advertising business on club equipment, merchandise and press releases and anyone who can help can contact 01924 827756.

Luddites FC will train weekly throughout the year and games will be played on Sunday mornings with home matches likely to be at Hembrigg.
