DEVELOPING strong relationships with the community is just one aim of Morley neighbourhood police team's new inspector.
Insp Joanne O'Hare, who has worked in the City and Holbeck Division since 2006, has taken over from Insp Justin Pedley at Morley Police Station and says she aims to enhance public satisfaction and create a safer environment for all who live, work and play in the region.

She said: "I am passionate about my role and believe that working together we can provide a service that focuses on making a difference.

"I believe that we can put the heart back into what we do and be enthusiastic about finding positive solutions to crime and community problems through neighbourhood policing.

"I am keen for people to be updated on a regular basis about what is happening in your community and how we are addressing issues via our website and the local press."

For regular updates about what is happening in Morley and surrounding districts, visit the Morley NPT website at www.westyorkshire. police.uk/npt.
