A diver from Morley Academy has found success at four major tournaments.
Year 11 pupil Amy Read won bronze at the Scottish Nationals.

In January she went to her first ever British championships and finished 13th on the 1m springboard, 11th on platform and 4th in the junior category.

In February she competed in Eindhoven in the Netherlands at the Senet Diving Cup. Amy also competed at G Star, the national event run by the City of Leeds club. She just missed out on the final of the 3m springboard but on the platform she qualified in first place and in the final won a gold medal. She repeated this performance on the 1m springboard, winning another gold medal.
