Arsonists torch Jaguar car in Tingley

Detectives are re-appealing for help in tracking down an arsonist who torched a Jaguar car parked outside a house.

A man approached the front of a property and set fire to the car on Kitson Street, Tingley, on Monday, August 17 between 11.40pm and midnight.

Det Con Phillip Joyce, of Leeds District CID, said: “We are appealing for information regarding this fire, which was started deliberately, and which caused significant damage to a car and to a garage.

“This blaze could very easily have spread to the house potentially with even more serious consequences and it is important we catch whoever is responsible as soon as possible.”
