There’s a new look and new opening hours at East Ardsley Post Office.
The Bradford Road branch closed for two weeks last month while it was transformed under the largest modernisation programme in Post Office history.
Postmistress Tina McKee, who runs the post office with her husband Mark, said: “Everything is new, including shelving, counters and frontage.
“We’re now open longer and we hope people will find us more accessible.”
The couple moved back to Yorkshire from Norwich, where they lived and worked for 13 years, to be closer to family and took over the branch in October.
“We had never run a post office before this, but it’s the best decision we ever made.
“The village is lovely, as are our customers, and we really enjoy it. It fits in nicely with our family life.”
The post office is now open from 6.30am until 5.30pm.
