It will be a chocoholic’s dream come true at St Peter’s Church, Gildersome on Friday May 9 at 7pm - and it’s all in a bid to help this year’s Christian Aid appeal.
The local Morley and District Committee has invited David Greenwood-Haigh, master chocolatier from Coeur de Xocolat Ltd, to talk about the history of chocolate and chocolate tasting with a particular focus on the link with the Fairtrade movement.
David will demonstrate chocolate making in his presentation with plenty of samples for chocoholic tasting.
The art of choosing good quality wines to accompany the chocolate enjoyed by so many people will also be demonstrated.
The evening will start at 7pm and although there will be a break for hot drink(included in ticket price) everyone is welcome to take a bottle along to enjoy with the chocolate.
Tickets are £4 each.
Fairtrade chocolate will be available to buy on the night and there will be raffles.
