A woman had her hair pulled following an argument with two men in Birstall.
Police have issued an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to following the assault on the 29-year-old woman, which happened on Lowood Lane.
The victim had been approached by two men between 5.20pm and 5.35pm on Friday, May 22.
Following a brief verbal exchange, one of the men pulled the victim’s hair causing pain but no visible injury.
The man police want to speak to is described as white, aged in his mid 20s, around 6ft tall, of skinny build, with blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a light grey hooded top, navy blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and light grey and light blue Adidas trainers.
PC Chris Merrick, of Batley & Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We would urge anyone who recognises the pictured man, or indeed the man himself, to make contact to assist us with our ongoing enquiries. Anyone with information should call the Batley & Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team via 101.”
