Two beauty therapists are ready to take Morley by storm after gaining financial support from youth charity The Prince’s Trust.
Ruby Carter and Jessica Cawthorne, both 21, have opened Aphrodite Beauty at Skin and Health Clinic Innercore on Asquith Avenue.
The pair met whilst studying for their Level 3 Beauty qualification at college and together they attended a business course run by the Prince’s Trust which led them to launch the salon with funding from the charity.
It will initially open once a week, every Wednesday, to fit around their regular part-time jobs, which will also help fund the venture.
“We’re so excited to launch our own venture,” Ruby said.
“The course helped give us the confidence to go after our dreams and now, here we are!
“We’re two everyday girls who love our profession and want to make people feel good about themselves...we can’t wait to get started!
“It’s going to be a busy time for us as we’ll be working our regular jobs whilst running Aphrodite Beauty but we’re looking forward to the challenge.
“It’s nothing we’ve ever done before but we’re ready to give it a go and make it a success!”
