Churwell charity day for Lorna’s fund

STALLS, photo shoots, curries, raffles and much more will be at an event in Churwell next weekend to raise money for a good cause.

Sisters Kieley Scholey, Hannah Armitage and Danielle Canham have organised a fundraising event for the Stoke Association, in memory of their aunt, Lorna Morton, who died in April last year.

The trio have already raised £625 at one event and are hoping to at least double that amount at next Saturday’s fundraising day at Cross Street WMC, Victoria Avenue, Churwell from 11am-3pm.

Everyone is invited along to take a look and all money raised will be donated to the Stroke Association via the Lorna Morton Memorial Fund.
