Don’t miss your new look Observer & Advertiser next week!

editorial image

IT’S all change within your favourite weekly newspaper, as we take on a fantastic new look combined with a new outlook from Wednesday.

Our page designs have had a makeover, with the new look including fresher headlines, body type and layouts.

But the changes don’t end there, as we’ve also invested effort into a deeper and better value level of content.

You’ll notice that each week there will be a news focus double page centering on a key issue or topic from the Morley and south Leeds area.

This might be a serious, analytical feature through to a more light-hearted take on something the community is talking about.

We’ll also be concentrating more on reporting junior sport – all the teams, the match reports and picture profiles too.

Our entertainments guide will also be getting a makeover, and rebranded as WOW 24/7 – the What’s on Where guide for your district.

There will be a revamped listings section and it will be complemented by a new national website of the same name.

And it won’t just be in print that you can expect to see changes. Our website will be relaunched in due course, and you can expect to see even more up-to-the-minute breaking news going live together with more video and picture content.

And to complete the multi-media set, our reporters will be increasingly active on Facebook and Twitter, providing background and conversation to the week’s biggest stories.

Pick up your copy of the new look Morley Observer & Advertiser on Wednesday January 23.
