Morley Victoria Primary School pupils have scootered the equivalent of Morley to Marseille in an event called Tour de Morley, in honour of the Tour de France.

They were visited by Morley’s MP Ed Balls, who came along to the school and joined some of the year six pupils on a few laps of the circuit on a scooter.
All age groups were involved and the children brought their own scooters along and laid out an area and route to follow, which included roundabouts, a slalom and hairpin bends, cycling over 900 miles in total. Mr Balls said it had been great fun to join them. (d603a428)
