Gildersome and Morley ready for Christmas lights switch on

VILLAGERS in Gildersome have been invited to the switching on of the Christmas lights on Friday, November 16.

The annual event, which is organised by Gildersome Parish Council, will be held on the village green from 7pm.

There will be fireworks, a mystery celebrity to flip the switch and hotdogs and refreshments.

The Morley lights switch-on will be held outside Morley Town Hall on Thursday, November 22, from 5pm.

There will be a craft fair in Morley Town Hall from 5pm-8pm, street entertainment from 5pm and a stage show from 6pm-7pm.
