There’s been walks, there’s been talks and poetry too at this year’s Morley Literature Festival.
The annual event has attracted national attention to the town which has played host to the likes of historican Alison Weir, poet Becky Cherriman and journalist Colin Brown.
Festival director Jenny Harris said: “It’s going really well. The first weekend has been very busy and the weather has been lovely.”
The festival will conclude this Sunday with a talk by festival patron Gervase Phinn, which follows a keynote talk by Kate Adie.
