Tv legend Johnny Ball is hosting what is hoped to be the world’s largest live audience maths lesson today at Elland Road stadium.

The well-known maths enthusiast is taking to the stage at the stadium for the giant maths lesson, which organisers hope will be a world record-breaker.

The event is for school children across Yorkshire and is taking place during National Science Week.

Johnny will be delivering his unique style of inspirational, real life maths to nine to 13-year-olds in the free show.

Organisers say the maths lesson will be a fantastic opportunity for all young people across Yorkshire, regardless of ability. They said the school children will have a unique and memorable learning experience, delivered by the maths legend, as well as taking part in an official Guinness World Record attempt.

Schools can bring as many pupils as they want and teachers will be provided with educational packs.

There will also be special appearances from Leeds United players.
