Join Morley’s heritage tours this weekend

ARE you interested in the history of Morley? If the answer is yes, then Morley Town Council, in conjunction with Morley Community Archives, are inviting you on two free conducted tours of Morley Town Hall and on Morley Heritage Train this weekend.

On Saturday you will be taken to areas of the town hall not usually open to the public.

Sunday’s tour, which will last around two hours and comfortable shoes are a must, will take you through the town’s industrial heritage and historical buildings - ending with a cup of tea and chat with the town’s Mayor.

For both tours, meet at the bottom of the main staircase at Morley Town Hall at 10.30am and again at 2pm.

Refreshments will be served.
