Leeds City Council is offering Morley residents the chance to apply for help which will mean lower energy bills.
The Wrap Up Leeds ECO project offers to pay a certain amount towards essential improvements, such as ike glazing, loft or attic room insulation, which will make homes more energy efficient and cheaper to heat in the long run.
Coun Mark Dobson, executive member for the environment, said:“Insulating your home is one of the best ways to stop your home leaking heat and money. Help is at hand and I’d encourage people to get in touch.”
Although the fund is directed at solid walled homes in certain areas, people who live outside these areas can still apply for assistance and will also be able to apply for cash back worth up to £7,600 through the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund.
