Morley homeowners urged to lock up

BURGLARS are taking advantage of people who leave their doors unlocked, police have warned.

Insp Paul Sullivan of the Morley Neighbourhood Policing Team said that although there have been fewer burglaries this year when compared with last, he was concerned that residents were being careless about security.

On Sunday, September 30, at around 5pm they had a report of a sneak-in burglary at an address on Corporation Street when a mobile phone was taken.

There was a similar incident on October 6 at Poplar Crescent, Tingley.
