People were invited to Morley Library to take part in a workshop where they could add their own stories to a World War 1 timeline.

Morley Library opened its doors for a special workshop commemorating the outbreak of World War One.

The World War One workshop gave people the opportunity to go along and share any stories they may have about the Great War.

The event was organised by WW1 Leeds, an online interactive timeline following people in Leeds during World War One and was created by the Preservative Party, an advisory group of people aged between 14-24, that meets at Leeds City Museum every fortnight and gets involved in lots of different types of museum work

The workshop gave visitors the chance to contribute to the site and discover other peoples’ stories about World War One in and around Leeds.
