FIREWORKS will be lighting up the sky this weekend for Bonfire Night.

Morley Cricket Club and Rugby Club will be holding a joint bonfire and fireworks display at the club on Sunday from 4.30pm onwards.

As well as a display of spectacular rockets, Catherine wheels and colourful fountains there will be a barbecue, tombola and much more for everyone to wrap up warm and enjoy.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the funfair and stalls from 4.30pm with the fireworks being lit at around 7.30pm.

Thousands of people are expected to gather at Roundhay Park to enjoy the city’s biggest fireworks and bonfire event on Monday, November 5.

Admission is free and the fire will be lit at 7.30pm with the fireworks display starting at 8pm.

Middleton Park’s event will be also be held on Monday. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the fireworks will start at 7.30pm.

Springhead Park in Rothwell will host lots of fun on Monday with the fire being lit at 7pm and the firework display at 7.30pm.
