A group of young dancers are going to Disneyland Paris this Saturday to perform in a pre-parade as part of the ‘Disney Performing Arts On Stage’ programme.

The 10 pupils from Stagecoach Leeds Morley auditioned in March and found out they had secured their place in May.

Georgia, a pupil at the dance school said she is looking forward to sharing the experience with her friends. She said: “I’m so excited to go to Disneyland next week. I’m looking forward to meeting all the characters, but most of all, performing in the pre-parade.”

The dancers from Morley, are aged between 11 and 18 years old and will join 20 others from Horsforth, Malton and Northallerton branches of Stagecoach Theatre Arts.

Principal of Stagecoach Leeds Morley, Ken Davidson said all the students have been working hard to perfect their performance.

He said: “I’m really pleased that we’ve been able to provide them with this opportunity. I’d like to wish them the most wonderful time in Disneyland.”
