Northern Rail winds down services for Christmas

NORTHER Rail is reminding passengers that services will start to wind down across the network from 7pm on Christmas Eve, with very few trains running after 9pm.

Services will not run at all on Christmas Day or Boxing Day and a normal service will resume on Thursday, December 27, except for a few very early morning services.

New Year’s Eve will again see services winding down from 7pm, and services will start later on New Year’s Day.

Normal service will resume on Wednesday, January 2.

People are advised to consult www.northernrail.org or National Rail Enquiries website at www.nationalrail.co.uk for specific times and services.
