Police appeal after Morley park robbery

DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Scatcherd Park.

The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 11, near to the war memorial.

Three males approached another group of males and threatened two members of the group.

The three then took two mountain bikes before making off towards Morley Bottoms.

All three are described as white and aged in their late teens to early 20s and wearing dark clothing.

The first mountain bike is described as a Giant Glory 01, Frame 2011 with white and blue detailing. It has a purple handle bar and purple pedals. There is a Fox decal on the front forks and it has a white and blue seat, blue handle bar grips and blue brake hoses.

The second bike is a White Specialised Hard Rock bike with small black and red stripes. It has a blue LED light on the front and a red one on the rear.

Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who sees either bike is asked to contact Holbeck CID on 101.
