Police to visit West Ardsley residents

OFFICERS from Morley Neighbourhood Policing Team will be visiting residents in the Haigh Moor area over the next week to consult with them about their local police.

The aim is to inform residents about their current performance and discuss any problems.

Insp Paul Sullivan said: “Our current performance is nothing less than outstanding and the Haigh Moor area has seen very little in the way of crime and anti social behaviour.

“The results from the independent crime survey demonstrate however that residents are not happy with police visibility and I want to know more about this.

“It may be we are missing something so I have directed this intense engagement activity to speak to residents and listen and respond to any concerns.”

Between April and September there have been 229 fewer crimes recorded in Morley compared to the same period last year.
