Professional pet detective enlisted to find Morley cat

Otter has been missing since July 4.

Otter has been missing since July 4.

A Morley couple have enlisted the help of a professional pet detective agency in their attempts to find their missing cat.

Michael Ousby and his partner Bethany, of Fielding Way, are both becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of two year-old Otter, who is black with a white chest, white paws and a distinctive black marking on his nose.

Otter has not been seen since July 4 and the couple have employed Animal Search UK, which helps to look for missing pets, to assist with the search.

Bethany said: “This is the first time Otter’s ever gone missing. He’s very habitual so it’s very out of character for him. It’s difficult for us not knowing where he is.

“We’ve had a couple of phone calls from people who thought they’d seen him but there are a lot of black and white cats around so we’ve had no luck as yet.”

Anyone with any news, information or has a sighting of Otter is urged to ring the Animal Search UK confidential free helpline on 0800 4320 340 and quote the case reference number 190997.
