Children from Morley’s Fountain Primary School Key stage one group put together a recent bee-themed performance for parents called Honey.

The show took a fun look at the workings of a honey bee hive and the children made their own costumes and scenery. Mrs Pat Street, the year two teacher, said: “The children worked hard to learn lines and songs from the play and have been buzzing with excitement all half term!”

They also enjoyed a visit from a real live bee keeper named Mr Humble. The bee-keeper showed the children the internal workings of a bee-hive and the importance of looking after bees and the
environment.
