Morley councillors are joining residents to tackle the increasing problem of Japanese knotweed, the invasive plant growing across Morley.

Morley councillors are joining residents to tackle the increasing problem of Japanese knotweed, the invasive plant growing across Morley. 
Coun Shirley Varley, who has been working with residents off Albert Road, said: “This is literally a growing problem. 
“Japanese Knotweed is a plant that, if not dealt with, can have a significant impact on buildings.”
Councillors are to bring up the issue at a full meeting of Leeds City Council this month.
