Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of robbery after Tingley’s newly opened Tesco Express was targeted just one day after it had officially opened.

The robbery took place at around 10.37pm on Wednesday May 21 at the store on Westerton Road.
A 19-year-old man along with two 17-year-olds were arrested by police and have since been bailed until August pending further enquiries.
Police are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to contact Leeds CID via the non-emergency number 101.
