Detectives investigating the death of a man in Thorpe have arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
He was arrested yesterday morning by detectives in connection with the death of Sidney Cox.
Mr Cox, 57, died after being attacked at a house on Middleton Lane, Thorpe, on Saturday, August 24 at around 7.20pm.
He was taken to Pinderfields Hospital before being transferred to Leeds General Infirmary where he died in the early hours of Sunday, August 25.
