A 50 year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing incident on Queen Street in Morley this afternoon.
An argument is understood to have broke out between two men outside the Fountain Inn pub in the town centre, resulting in one of the men being stabbed in the arm with a knife.
He was taken to hospital, though his injuries are said to be minor.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to Queen Street, Morley at around 3.10pm this afternoon to a report a man had been assaulted following an argument with another male.
“Emergency services attended and the victim, a man in his 40’s, was located and taken to hospital for a minor injury to his arm believed to have been caused by a knife.
“A 50-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with the incident and is in custody.”
