The Mayor of Morley welcomed the businesses behind the donations she has received for her chosen charities.

Coun Wyn Kidger invited restaurant Table 27 and Lloyds Bank to the Mayor’s parlour to say a huge thank you to them both for their donations.

Table 27, which won the Entrepreneur and Business Start-Up award at this year’s Morley Business Awards, handed over £200 to the fund, which they had raised through donations and collections at their restaurant.

Lloyds TSB sold books and raffled a hamper to their customers to raise £300.

Coun Kidger said: “Every penny of donations that are given to my fund will be distributed at the end of my year to any local community group, be it dancers, crafts or sports, who need a helping hand.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to Table 27 and Lloyds for their generous donations and all their help.”
