The Mayor of Morley gave her support to raising funds to raise awareness and find a cure for motor neurone disease.
Coun Wyn Kidger attended a charity dinner in aid of the charity, organised by Gemma Edwards who lost her uncle John to the disease.
The event, heldat Elland Road, saw Leeds United legend Norman Hunter take to the stage as the after dinner speaker.
An auction and a raffle were also held to help boost funds even further.
The Mayoress for the night was Tracey Burgess of Board to Tiers who kindly donated a voucher for a cake.
Coun Kidger said: “A massive well done to Gemma Edwards who has worked tirelessly to arrange this very successful dinner in the memory of her late Uncle John.
“Well done again Gemma.”
