The second Morley Beer Festival will take place this weekend with 32 local ales ready to sample.

Starting on Friday at 7pm ale experts and those who just enjoy the atmosphere will be able to sample any of the 32 local real ales and fruity ciders all sourced from around West Yorkshire and brought to the festival.

Morley Cricket Club in Scatcherd Lane, will feature food craft stalls, fun fair rides and live music, including local band Trilogy on Sunday afternoon

Festival organiser David Nebard said: “We hope people come along and support us like they did last year, a lot of people are interested and seem to be talking about it and the weather looks like it is going to be good.

“We are showing the Grand National which is on over the weekend so there is no excuse.”

A full weekend pass costs £3, it includes a commemorative glass and festival programme, under 16s go free.
