Hirst Park, in High Street, will see improvements including new benches and flower beds following a campaign by Morley Borough Independent councillors.
Coun Shirley Varley said: “We are delighted we have been able to deliver this improvement plan. Although this park is small, it is well used and appreciated by local residents. These improvements will contribute towards the continuing regeneration of the area.”
The money for the improvements came from developers renovating South Queen Street and is part of a larger regeneration plan for the area.
