Morley MP Ed Balls served up afternoon tea at Unity Hall, Commercial Street, to pensioners from across his constituency to mark UK Older People’s Day and also signed up to the National Pensioner’s Convension’s Dignity Code for older people.

The Dignity Code sets out to uphold the rights and maintain the personal dignity of older people, within the context of ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of those who are increasingly less able to care for themselves or to properly conduct their affairs.
